Airports over time

Every US airport in the data, counting flights departing from it, by year. Click an airport's code to see where it flies.

Each airport counts flights from it only: routes are one-way. Airports with fewer than 365 departures in every year are left out. Freight before 2003 leaves out most domestic FedEx and UPS flying, so shares of freight jump when they appear: see known gaps in the data.
